Handbook 2: Inspection

The Inspection Handbook is the second of three handbooks for the Catholic Schools Inspectorate. It outlines the processes to be followed when inspecting a school under the National Framework for the Inspection of Catholic Schools, Colleges and Academies. It contains the grade descriptors that inspectors will use in arriving at their inspection judgements. It includes references to templates that dioceses may find useful, including a self-evaluation template. These are downloadable separately below.
