This online course has been designed to induct and train new governors of Catholic schools. This course will help you get to grips with Catholic education so that you can deliver effective governance from your first day.

About our course for governors 

The course modules cover essential topics in the governance of Catholic schools and academies in England and Wales. All modules are free to complete and vary in length. 

This course was created in partnership with the Catholic Teaching Schools Alliance.

Module 1: An Introduction to Catholic Education
